SMT assembly
Surface-mount components placed and reflowed on the automated line. It is the most efficient technology for high-density boards and recurring volumes.
Department detailsAll our work is carried out to the customer's specifications. The scope of supply — from the assembled board alone to the finished product — is defined in the quotation.
There is no standard minimum batch: batch size is assessed according to the product and the customer's needs.
Small quantities built to validate the design. Any issues found during assembly are reported to the customer along with the boards.
The transition between prototype and production, in which the set-ups, test procedures and packaging methods for the series are fine-tuned.
Batches scheduled over time, run with set-ups already in place and established procedures, which keeps lead times and costs down.
Each process can be ordered on its own or as part of the complete cycle.

Department detailsA department dedicated to through-hole technology, including component insertion and machine soldering. Mixed SMT + PTH boards pass through the two departments in sequence.
Department detailsInsertion of special components, wiring and cable harnesses, and assembly of mechanical parts to the drawings supplied by the customer.
Department detailsVisual inspection of every board and functional verification according to the agreed procedure. Non-conforming units are set aside and reported to the customer.
Department detailsPacking in anti-static material to specification. Where the order requires it, we also assemble the complete product with its enclosure and accessories.
Department detailsSurface mounting is not always the most cost-effective solution. Through-hole is still required for connectors, transformers and power components and, on low-density boards or in small batches, it often means a lower overall cost: cheaper components, no dedicated stencils, simpler set-up. Choosing the most suitable technology is part of the preliminary assessment before we prepare a quotation.
The process is the same whatever the quantity.
Gerber files, bill of materials, placement data and planned quantities.
We check manufacturability with the available processes and report any issues.
Costs, delivery times and how materials will be supplied.
Machine set-up and execution of the agreed processes.
Packaging and shipping within the lead time set in the quotation.
Components can be consigned by the customer or procured jointly, whichever suits the customer's organisation best. This is one of the points defined in the quotation, so that the terms are clear before the order starts.
Answers to the questions we are asked most often.
There is no standard minimum batch: quantities are assessed according to the product and the customer's needs, from a single prototype to recurring production.
Gerber files, the bill of materials (BOM) and the planned quantities are enough. Placement data, assembly drawings and test procedures, if available, make the assessment faster. Files can be attached directly to the contact form.
Requests are answered by the next working day. Lead times depend on quantities and components and are set out in the quotation.
Yes. Components can be supplied by the customer on consignment or managed jointly, whichever best suits the customer's organisation. This is one of the points agreed in the quotation.
Yes: prototypes, pre-series and recurring production. On prototypes we report any issues found during assembly, which helps validate the design.
All three: an automated SMT line, through-hole assembly with machine soldering, and manual processes. Mixed SMT + PTH boards pass through both departments in sequence, in the same plant.
Yes. Every board is visually inspected and, following the agreed procedure, functionally tested. If the order requires it, assembly continues up to the complete product with enclosure and accessories.
Yes. Customers' designs, files and information remain confidential and are never published; on request we sign a non-disclosure agreement before the documentation is sent.
Yes, by appointment: the plant is at Via E. Fermi, 5 — Zona Industriale, Acquaviva Picena (AP). To arrange a visit, just contact us.
Gerber files, the bill of materials and the planned quantities are all we need to prepare a quotation.
